Your private guide meets you at your hotel and escorts you to the waiting yacht — they stay with you for the entire day.
- 02Departure · the archipelago
Out through the coastal archipelago of Western Norway — islands, skerries and shoreline communities giving way to the Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord.
- 03Nærøyfjord passage
The UNESCO-listed narrow — at its tightest, 250 metres wide beneath 1,700-metre walls. Engine off, and drift the last of it in silence.
- 04Lunch on board
Lunch laid on the aft deck as we near the head of the fjord, with coffee, tea and refreshments served throughout the day.
- 05Ashore · Gudvangen
Alongside at Gudvangen, at the head of the Nærøyfjord. The yacht turns for home while you carry on by land.
- 06Private car · Gudvangen to Flåm
Your private vehicle meets you at the quay for the short transfer across to Flåm, at the head of the Aurlandsfjord.
- 07Flåm Railway · to Myrdal
One of the world’s most spectacular rail journeys — climbing nearly 900 metres past waterfalls and ravines to the mountain station at Myrdal, your guide filling in the history as you go.
- 08Bergen Line · Myrdal to Voss
Connect to the Bergensbanen across the mountain plateau — alpine lakes and high country — descending to Voss.
- 09Hotel drop-off · Bergen
Your private car waits at Voss station for the comfortable drive back to Bergen, and delivers you to your hotel door.
